THE WEBB LAW FIRM REMAINS FULLY OPERATIONAL THROUGH ITS VIRTUAL OFFICE CAPABILITIES IN THE FACE OF COVID-19

As the world continues to respond to the threat posed by COVID-19, The Webb Law Firm would like to provide you with the following assurances during these uncertain times:

· Our Firm remains fully operational through our remote presence and virtual office capabilities. As many of you know, the United States is implementing policies and procedures at both the federal and state levels to curb the spread of COVID-19. In the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Governor Wolf has issued an order directing the physical offices of “non-lifesaving” businesses to close to further reduce the potential for transmission of the virus. The Webb Law Firm has been prepared for this possibility, and to ensure the safety of our team, their families and friends and the general public, the Webb Law Firm is abiding by this physical closure order of our office space. However, our Firm remains fully operational through our remote presence and virtual office capabilities. All of our lawyers and staff are accessible through e-mail and telephone, and are continuing to meet the needs of all of our clients around the world. For our clients, you should notice no difference, as we continue to strive to provide quality, efficient, and effective services.

· The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office is open. At this time, the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office remains open for business, although most of the staff of the USPTO are working remotely. As such, we will continue to handle all of our clients’ matters, and will alert our clients to any changes in USPTO practices that are applicable to their particular cases. Even if the USPTO closes for brief periods, we can continue to file electronically to serve our clients’ interests. For litigation matters, each court system is handling matters differently, and our lawyers are taking action to ensure all rights are protected as courts adjust their schedules. For all other matters, we continue to serve our clients’ interests and will continue to operate accordingly. To the extent any of our clients’ businesses are unable to provide instructions during these times, we will work to preserve our clients’ rights and interests until such time that our clients are once again fully operational.

Contact us if we can be of help to you in any respect during these difficult times. We are here for you.

Our clients are part of our extended family at Webb, and the health and welfare of everyone is of utmost importance to all of us. We thank you for your understanding, cooperation and patience, as we all navigate the impact of the coronavirus together.

If you have any questions or concerns, contact any of us directly, or reach out to webblaw@webblaw.com.
