Bio
Nicholas is a Patent Attorney with over 15 years of experience counseling clients in all aspects of patent prosecution, litigation and related business issues. He has extensive experience drafting and prosecuting patent applications directed towards a variety of technologies, including the medical device, aerospace and consumer products industries. He has successfully represented clients in intellectual property cases before the International Trade Commission, U.S. District Courts, and the Patent Trial and Appeal Boards. Nicholas also provides comprehensive legal opinions related to patent infringement and validity in both pre-trial and pre-commercialization stages.
Nicholas received his law degree, cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law, and also holds degrees in Biomedical and Bioengineering. Prior to attending law school, Nicholas worked as an engineer in the development of vascular and orthopedic surgical devices. He also served as a former President of the Intellectual Property Law Association of Florida.
