Jesse A. Hirshman is an Intellectual Property attorney with experience in the life sciences, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, chemical and mechanical fields, having drafted and prosecuted patent applications in the fields of: regenerative medicine; biologics; medical devices; gene therapeutics; molecular diagnostics; nucleotide and nucleic acid analogs; microbiology; cell biology; industrial processes and bioprocesses; pharmaceutical agents, treatments and delivery; in silico modeling of biological systems; metabolic engineering; polymer and organic chemistry; plant and agriculture sciences; micro- and nano-electromechanical systems, foods, nutraceuticals, and cosmetics.
Jesse drafts and prosecutes patent applications, provides counseling regarding freedom to operate, patentability, and validity of patents. He prosecutes and manages domestic and international patent portfolios for corporate, university and individual clients. Jesse also prepares and files trademark applications and provides counseling relating to trademark clearance.
Before joining the Webb Law Firm in 2011, Jesse founded Hirshman Law, LLC. Prior to that, he was an associate at (now) K&L Gates and The Webb Law Firm.
