Bio
James G. Porcelli has worked at The Webb Law Firm since 1997 as an associate, then shareholder, and currently Of Counsel. Jim is an Intellectual Property attorney whose practice includes United States and foreign patent prosecution, United States trademark prosecution, drafting and negotiating technology license agreements, and preparing non-infringement and validity opinions. Prior to joining The Webb Law Firm, Jim served as Senior Patent Counsel for Kennametal Inc., a Fortune 500 company, and as a Patent Attorney for the Westinghouse Electric Corporation. Jim also worked for Sargent & Lundy, an architectural engineering firm, as a piping analyst engineer for power plants. Jim holds a B.S. degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Illinois and a J.D. degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. He is also a frequent speaker on intellectual property matters.
