Nicholas is a Registered Patent Attorney with over 20 years of experience counseling clients in all aspects of patent prosecution, litigation, and related business issues.

Nicholas drafts and prosecutes patent applications directed towards a variety of technologies, including in the medical device, aerospace, and consumer products industries. He has successfully represented clients in intellectual property cases before the International Trade Commission, U.S. District Courts, and the Patent Trial and Appeal Board, and also provides comprehensive legal opinions related to patent infringement and validity in both pre-trial and pre-commercialization stages.

Prior to attending law school, Nicholas worked as an engineer in the development of vascular and orthopedic surgical devices. He also served as a former President of the Intellectual Property Law Association of Florida.
