The Webb Law Firm recently moderated a robotic leaders technology roundtable entitled “Up There & Way Up There: Robotics In Space” hosted at Astrobotic HQ in the Strip District of Pittsburgh. The German American Chamber of Commerce’s Pittsburgh Chapter (GACCPIT) brought together German and US-based interests to discuss the latest innovations and research in transportation-related robotics. Among those involved in the panel included representatives from Bosch, Caterpillar, Uber, Astrobotic, and the German Center for Research and Innovation.
The roundtable program was moderated by Craig M. Waller of The Webb Law Firm, and was preceded by a tour of Astrobotic. Those in attendance were able to see first-hand where the Pittsburgh-based technology startup plans to commercialize affordable space robotics technology and planetary missions for the world. During the luncheon, Astrobotic CEO John Thornton spoke about how his company’s work will affect aerospace robotics in air and on land including ways in which his company is engaging the general public through products like MoonMail.
