(January 23, 2017) Pittsburgh, PA – The Webb Law Firm, P.C., today announced the addition of intellectual property litigator and patent attorney, Frederick H. Colen, to their practice. Mr. Colen is a seasoned intellectual property attorney, accomplishing more than 40 years of IP law practice. His deep experience has been in U.S. and foreign patent, trademark, copyright and other related intellectual property matters and disputes. Mr. Colen is also highly adept in licensing of proprietary technology and know-how in both domestic and foreign matters.
Mr. Colen has been appointed by the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania as a Special Master to the Court in patent infringement matters. In addition, as a certified Alternative Dispute Resolution neutral, Mr. Colen has served the court as a mediator, arbitrator and early neutral evaluator for patent, trademark and copyright disputes.

Mr. Colen remains an active participant in many intellectual property organizations and events locally and nationally. He has also authored numerous articles related to his significant IP experience and continues to instruct and provide updates to businesses and educational institutions.
