PITTSBURGH, PA — Deborah Altman has rejoined The Webb Law Firm as an Intellectual Property attorney. Her intellectual property legal experience includes managing patent and trademark portfolios, preparation and prosecution of patent applications in the chemical arts (organic and inorganic), conducting IP due diligence evaluations of third party IP portfolios for business development, licensing agreements, and IP provisions of commercial agreements.
Prior to rejoining The Webb Law Firm, Ms. Altman worked at PPG Industries, Inc. as a Development Chemist and more recently, as an Assistant Counsel for PPG’s chemicals and optical products businesses.
Ms. Altman is active in various legal professional organizations including the Allegheny County Bar Association (ACBA), Pittsburgh Intellectual Property Law Association (PIPLA), and the American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA). She earned her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Pittsburgh and her JD from Duquesne University School of Law. She is a registered patent attorney and is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania and the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.
