Kathleen M. Pointon is an Intellectual Property Attorney with a background in the life sciences. Kathleen received a Bachelor of Science degree in neuroscience from the University of Pittsburgh, where she worked as a research assistant in the departments of neuroscience and neurology. During her time as a research assistant, Kathleen helped develop treatment medications and testing techniques for neuromuscular diseases, and examined improvement rates at both the physical and molecular levels.
At The Webb Law Firm, Kathleen is heavily involved with the patent and trademark innovation practice groups, particularly in drafting and prosecution, and also assists with litigation. She also conducts clearance and infringement searches for brands, products and services, and helps to police brands globally. Kathleen is also active in the field of patents and other protections for pharmaceuticals and industrial coatings.
Kathleen received her J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. Before joining The Webb Law Firm as an associate, Kathleen worked for Webb as a summer associate.
