Julie W. Meder is an Intellectual Property attorney with extensive experience in law, business and technical fields such as chemical engineering, physics, and biotechnology. In the horticulture industry, Julie has lectured internationally and is involved with all aspects of IP law including assisting with litigation matters and in securing patent protection for plant varieties. She is a published author and legal authority whose informed comments have appeared in technology magazines and scientific journals. Early in her career, she served as a research fellow in biotechnology at the Agricultural University of Wageningen, The Netherlands, and later as a polymer research and development engineer and biotechnology technical sales representative with E.I. du Pont de Nemours & Co., Inc., Wilmington, Delaware.
