Alexander Detschelt is an Intellectual Property attorney with experience in the following areas: patent prosecution, validity/non-infringement opinions, litigation, licensing, and trademarks. His practice focuses on various technologies, including mobile networks, e-commerce, and systems hardware and software.
Prior to his current position at The Webb Law Firm, Alexander began his career at our firm as a summer associate while attending law school in 2000, and he continued to work with Webb until 2011. In his most recent professional position, over the course of five years, Alexander grew a mobile advertising company’s patent portfolio to over 100 U.S. and foreign patents. This portfolio encompasses the fundamental aspects of targeted mobile advertising, mobile search, and user interface technologies. It was also recently acquired by one of the largest multi-national mass media corporations.
Alexander received his J.D. from the University of Akron School of Law and earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Pittsburgh.
