BIO
Justin P. Martinchek is a registered U.S. patent attorney with extensive experience in preparing, prosecuting, and securing patents across a wide range of industries. He works closely with inventors, startups, and established companies to strategically build and manage global patent portfolios.
While experienced across diverse technical fields, Justin focuses on the chemical arts, particularly in polymer chemistry, oil and gas, pharmaceuticals, and materials science. In addition to patent procurement, he handles oppositions, freedom-to-operate and invalidity opinions, and other matters related to the enforcement and defense of patents worldwide. Justin also drafts and negotiates key intellectual property agreements, including licensing, transfer, and non-disclosure agreements.
Outside of his legal practice, Justin is involved in community service and supports organizations such as Make-A-Wish, the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, and the American Chemical Society.
