BIO

Bryan Clark’s practice focuses on all aspects of intellectual property law, including prosecuting and litigating patents, trademarks, and copyrights across diverse industries and technologies. His engineering background combined with extensive litigation experience allows him to evaluate and address his clients’ IP needs efficiently and effectively. Bryan has represented a broad range of clients, from Fortune 500 companies to individual inventors and startups, and he understands the unique needs and challenges faced by clients of all sizes.

Bryan’s patent prosecution experience spans many technology sectors, including metallurgy, medical devices, computer hardware and software, networking and telecommunication systems, autonomous vehicles, and electromechanical devices. He oversees all stages of the patenting process, from initial inventor meetings to patent issuance. Bryan also prosecutes trademark applications and manages the domestic and international trademark portfolios for various clients. On the litigation side, Bryan has appeared in over 100 patent and trademark cases nationwide, including in Pennsylvania, Texas, California, Delaware, and Florida. He has also successfully represented clients before the International Trade Commission, the Patent Trial and Appeal Board, and the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Bryan’s comprehensive litigation experience covers everything from pre-suit investigations, to arguing Markman and summary judgement motions, to witness examination at jury trials. Bryan prides himself on managing cases in a cost-effective manner, allowing his clients to make decisions based on the merits rather than the expense of litigation.

Bryan is an active member of several local bar associations, including the Pittsburgh Intellectual Property Law Association and the Q. Todd Dickinson Intellectual Property American Inn of Court. He also contributed to drafting the local patent rules for the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.
