Bridget Kane excels at navigating complex intellectual property matters, drawing on a strong technical background in electrical engineering. Before joining the Webb Law Firm, Bridget gained valuable industry experience in telecommunications engineering and image sensor manufacturing. Her unique background and experience allow her to translate complex technical concepts into clear, enforceable IP protections.

Bridget has experience drafting and prosecuting patent applications for a variety of subject matters including computer software, mobile applications and devices, machine learning, network devices, cellular and data networks, e-commerce and financial networks, augmentative and alternative communication and devices, additive manufacturing (3D-printing), microscopy, mechanical devices, and medical devices. Additionally, she counsels clients in various IP and patent matters including IP strategy, portfolio management, and non-infringement, validity, and freedom-to-operate opinions. Bridget advises a diverse clientele, from individual inventors and startups to multinational corporations, including Fortune 500 companies.

Bridget has conducted research and delivered presentations on topics such as 3D printing and artificial intelligence, with a particular focus on their intersection with intellectual property law. She also teaches an introductory IP law class as an adjunct professor at Carnegie Mellon University.
