Up There & Way Up There: Robotics In Space- Reception at Carnegie Mellon University's National Robotics Engineering Center

Join us at Carnegie Mellon University's National Robotics Engineering Center (NREC) for a discussion about innovation and research in space robotics. Representatives from the DLR Institute of Robotics and Mechatronics, German companies, Bosch, and universities will attend. The reception will feature key experts from both Germany and U.S. on the topic of robotics in air and space.

One of the keynote speakers for the evening reception is Professor William Whittaker--a world-renowned roboticist who has helped to develop more than 60 robots, breaking new ground in space exploration, hazardous waste remediation, agriculture and the development of autonomous vehicle technology. Whittaker founded the Field Robotics and National Robotics Engineering centers, which are part of CMU's cutting-edge Robotics Institute.
