Kirk M. Miles is an Intellectual Property
attorney with a background in chemistry and business
administration. Mr. Miles handles all phases of intellectual
property law. He focuses his practice on prosecution and protection
of technology in various technical disciplines including the
chemical and mechanical arts, with an emphasis in medical devices
and implant technology. Mr. Miles holds a Bachelor of Science in
chemistry from Gannon University and a Juris Doctor from the
Concord, New Hampshire-based Franklin Pierce Law Center, an
internationally recognized school for intellectual property law.
Prior to joining The Webb Law Firm, Mr. Miles worked with an
intellectual property law firm in the New Jersey-New York
metropolitan area. In 2000, he returned to his roots in Western
Pennsylvania and joined The Webb Law Firm.
Mr. Miles has particular expertise counseling clients in
pre-litigation matters including evaluating infringement issues,
design-around strategies and legal opinion writing. |
